I'm Kosha Bathia (Ko-sha Buh-thee-ya).
For over 15 years, my work has been about helping people understand those ideas through Graphic Recording, Illustration, Visual Communication and Creative Workshops.
I believe when ideas become clearer, conversations become better.
I've always been drawn to the exact moment an idea becomes clear; when it stops being a fragment in someone's notes and turns into something you can actually see.
That moment still drives the work.
The best creative work doesn't begin with drawing. It begins with listening.
Before I pick up a pen, I take time to understand what matters, who we're speaking to and what we're trying to achieve.
Because beautiful visuals are only meaningful when they help people understand something they couldn't before.
For me, creativity has never been about decoration.
👉 Audience-first. I design for the people who need to understand it, not for the brief.
👉 Context-driven. Every project begins with listening and asking the right questions.
👉 Thoughtful, not decorative. A visual should work, not just look good.

Sharing what I learn is an important part of my practice.
Alongside client projects, I write, teach and speak about creativity, visual thinking and communication.
Whether it's through articles, workshops or publishing, I hope to make visual communication more accessible to anyone who's curious about it.
I occasionally write about visual thinking, creative work and making sense of complex ideas through words, sketches and quiet reflection.

When I'm not working with clients, you'll usually find me painting canvases, or getting lost in stories.
I love visiting museums, art galleries and exhibitions, wandering through bookshops, experimenting with new art materials and noticing the little details most people walk past.
Those moments of observation often become the starting point for new ideas.
Because creativity isn't something I switch on at work.
It's simply how I move through the world.
